I am not claiming to be an expert on the Mark's, but I would look into getting a like new used Mark II. I have friends that do know allot about them and they always prefer the Mark II's over the Mark III's. I wish I could tell you why they are more reliable, but after asking if I should upgrade to the III they told me not to even think about it. Hope it helps
