my anxiously awaited Sinn arrived today. I got this watch off the WUS forum and it looked to be in good shape. Boy was I wrong... 1) 4:00 chrono pusher was bent. 2) AR coating terribly scratched up. 3) rotor was loose and making noise 4) bracelet had been completely polished (supposed to be polished/brushed combo) 5) bezel had been dinged and then someone tried to refinish... badly. I contacted the seller and he was accommodating and adjusted the price so we were both happy. Now the work began. I removed the AR coating using a Cape Cod cloth. Removed the bracelet, masked it and brushed/polished it to new condition. Opened it and tightened the rotor. Bent the pusher back to straight (scary procedure). Masked, filed and polished the bezel to a state where you can not see there was ever any problem. End result after 2 hours of work... a Sinn 903 St Aug that looks almost indistinguishable from new (except for lack of outer AR coating). I really like this watch and expect it to be staying in the rotation for a long while. By the way, the 7750 has kept +0 time since setting it, is nicel;y decorated with blues screws and decorated rotor and parts. Very sweet :D Attachment: 903StAug1.jpg (Downloaded 77 times)
