 I should have added that the collet is a brass collar that is friction fitted on to the balance shaft.  If you see any thing under the balance wheel other than that just tell me.  This is a lot easier to do when it is setting right in front of you.

Once you learn the theory you just apply it to what you see and can work on almost any movement, but we will get there.

Do you have tweezers and screw drivers?
