I'm sure I'll find "the one" and in fact have a couple of leads to run down next week.  It's just frustrating.  I suspect I have unrealistic expectations that others in the business are going to share my enthusiasm over this stuff.

I imagine when they hear words like "regulate" "adjust" and "diver" for watches they don't sell, many probably default to "Cover My A$%" mode for fear of having some weenie come back and hold their feet to the fire over a scratch on the caseback or a seal that fails 5 months after the fact.  I try to let them know that's not what I'm all about....  But I'll tell you.  It's enough to make me want to take this hobby to the next level.  Start reading up and buying specialized tools to be able to do some of this myself.
