 Since you have a cannon this freeware may be helpful. I have a Sony and WinXP reads and dose this for me.

I also use this due to being to cheep to buy a photo payware tool like photoshop. LOL :D

I use MS Paint for cropping pix only and that tool for sharpening and sizing the pix.

I don't use a trypod either. I just practice allot and about 1 in 10 pix comes out half way decent LOL :D

I am loosy at taking pix but just like to try so I can share my treasures. :cool: ;)
