The Synchron pro was bought new by the owner. It has been in his dresser drawer for a number of years and he was tired of it taking up the room of his sock balls. The dial and hands are immaculate. The crystal has a few very superficial scratches. It will probably be headed to Jack's Spa next week for a lube and oil change as well as the bezel numbers painted and crystal polished.
The Sharky is amazing. It looks as if it came out of a time-capsule. There has obviously been some polishing of the case and bezel. The crystal has a few imperfections. The Dial and hands are PERFECT. It will probably be going with its Synchron cousin next week as well for a little TLC. I will be getting very minimal work done to both of them. I want to leave them both mostly as they are.
Both transactions were with wire-transfer. I was extremely apprehensive about this part of the transaction, but it was well worth the effort and the wait. I will be bringing both of them to CC this weekend..........
