Hey CJ, the first is the toughest..after that it's a breeze. As you know.. I have only a casback opener and ZERO tools. I rely on patience and various inventive methods. Some discoveries: Dipping hand into house paint can is best way for smooth paint application. tiny scissors are great at lifting hands. Some scary mmoments: I thought I ruined my samurai dial, I tried to paint the date window frame yellow..it smudged a bit around the borders...I took a deep breath, took some tape and lifted the offending yellow oil!!!! paint up with ZERO residue! I got lucky there... dial is flawless and back to original white date window border. Had I tried to rub it clean...could have been ugly. It's funny...I get a watch, and immediately see something I'd liek to change..I lie to myself and say "Never gonna open this baby up" and 2 hours later I am in "surgery" with watch dial, hands etc all over the table.. haha! ![]() Got tired of red...so went with blue tip in the end.
