Thanks guys;

The Epos is worth minimum 1000 Euros (about $1,400 US), and I have seen it online at up to 1,200 Euros (that's $1700!).

Those Epos watches are hard to get here, it's a Euro brand that dates back to 1925 (http://www.epos.ch). Even in Europe, it's tough to find as ADs are rare. I have often admired the Epos divers in articles and magazines...

So in fact the trade amounts to a $800 watch (Oris) for a $1500 watch (Epos). $1,500 is what I think you would get the Epos for here in Canada or in the US, in a store or online, with a small discount - since it's rare it's often not discounted). I have never even seen a recent Epos, but I've seen a few vintages.

The thing is, the Oris has a great look (I like the polished / brushed contrast) and is awful nice; but it has a no-frills movement, the Selita. If it had an an ETA (older models) I might have kept it (you know, ETA prestige and all). Also, since I already have a blue dialed diver (of a much higher standing, if I may add :)), I am thinking about the Chrono look. The Epos kinda looks like a black Daytona. From far LOL...

If there were no $300 involved, I would trade in a sec; but that would have been not very interesting for the other trader.

Obey you wrist, eh? Good one! ThumbsUp02.gif
