You bring a valid point, but since the Epos is worth twice the Oris, it's an "upgrade trade" for me: I'm better off repurchasing an Oris later (slightly used, like mine, if I can find it). Plus that Sellita movement does not get my blood racing, I liked the "old" ETA in the previous Oris models (another vote for later repurchasing of an Oris).
In fact Oris is being sneaky: they have changed the movements (the Sellita costs less, I've read) but they have increased their prices at the same time: win-win for them (which is OK, Oris is a for-profit company)!
