 Pilot or Aviator watch. You have it right. The Trias is a good and inexpensive way to go. The good thing about it, is it doesn't have any lume on the hands and markers. That lets the glowing dial do the work with the hands and markers totally black - much easier to read than version with everything lumned.

Aristo has a few like this, as does Fortis, Vollmer and others. Aristo has their Dakar collection, Titanium collection, and Pilot series with glowing dials.
