I think I'd rather try the bracelet idea before punching a hole in my strap.

Any idea how I'd determine which Seiko bracelet will fit my diver?  I'd like to get a Jubiliee style. Does Seiko make a 22mm curved end version?

Any thoughts on where I'd look?
