 Thank you for the feedback. I'm a bit concerned about durability. I don't "baby" my watches and want tomake sure the 1049 can handle everyday life :-)

Do you know if Riedenschild builds the Thuderbird products in the sme way they build the name brand products?

I've always purchased seikos and other well-known brands and am a littel bit gun shy about pulling the trigger on the Thunderbird.
