Have not dived since a shark encounter in the Bay of Acapulco in 1962...I was okay, but my guide got nailed.  That said, I now firmly believe that when one enters the ocean, they immediately go from the top to the bottom of the food chain.

I love the style of dive and military/pilot watches...while I am an instrument rated single engine/land pilot, I have never used a watch for anything other than measuring fuel consumption and switching tanks.  There are onboard and hand-held GPS and computers, not to mention timing clocks for approaches.  Looking at a watch while fly is distracting and disorienting!
