 I've heard the ex-SOF guys who do contractor work over in Afghanistan/Iraq/ETC favor the SUUNTO's, and G-Shocks.

e.avery - Thats interesting, what you said about an SF pay increase to stop all the talent moving to PSC roles.  Do you know if they really make it worth their while to stay in the service?  I mean, from what i know (I'm no expert, but im fascinated by that whole PSC Industry), they'd have to give them a hefty increase!! 

Here's a buddy of mine who did a stint over in Afghanistan a few years ago when he was done with the service.  Pretty sure he's wearing a Gshock...
