Not too long, so not a bunch of extra material. It is very thick, which is perfect for this watch. Any thinner, and it just wouldn't work (I did for example try on the Enzo dive strap, and as nice as it is, does not balance the watch as well as the strap). The buckle is only as big as it has to be. Honestly most of these size straps have the Panerai type buckle which I find digs into my wrist, so I like this ENZO buckle better. To me, it is the PERFECT strap, no kidding. Now if only I can convince ENZO to make one exactly like it in black with red stitching (ooooohhhhhhh). Enzo, can you do that? I did not used to like straps, I used to be bracelet only. The Hirsch liberty strap changed my mind. I realized that unbalance style, light weight, thin thickness, and lack of softness are why I never liked them before. THe strap has to be matched to the watch. This Enzo strap would not work well on a small Citizen, but on this watch is perfect. In fact I would love to see a strap one size thicker just for fun. Anyone know where to get a (gasp) thicker strap (other than Deleurian or Greg S). Last edited on Fri Nov 30th, 2007 07:36 am by pnut |
