 That is a great looking watch.  My list is getting longer and longer. 

Two questions about this watch:

1.  Why an acrylic crystal?  What are the pros/cons to this choice?

2.  What is the history of the California dial?  Half roman, half arabic?  Is there a functional reason for this change in numbers on the dial, or is it a design choice?
