Thanks guys. :D srh_pres wrote: Congrats Dave... looking forward to your pics on this one. Is the centered logo and dial writing taking a little getting used to? Seems like it pops on that dial...hand6.gif I find there is no distraction with the newly centered Doxa logo & type as opposed to their previous off-set logo. It is very classic looking. All the other Doxa design cues are there with the classic Doxa case shape and bezel. The sapphire crystal is slightly domed for a nice look too. The overall width is the same as my 750T (45mm), but the 5000T is thicker at 15mm. The dial is deeper too because of the raised/applied hour markers. The hour markers are beautiful on this watch, each one contains a "channel" of deep lume material (I believe it's C3). The metal hour markers themselves have beveled sides so they catch the light in a very interesting way. Vintage look without looking blingy. I dislike bling on a watch. Last night I decided to give the two rows of polished links on the bracelet a brushed finish. MAN, that was the perfect touch! The bracelet now has a fully brushed top surface and polished sides. I like this alot better and I think it matches the overall look of the rest of the watch. It's going to be hard to pry this thing off my wrist. One word........... perfect.gif
