davidsan has a website and it's easy to see exactly what he sells out of HK....authentification is easy to provide if the movement in question is genuine...there are places in Asia where replicas are sold on every corner and owning a genuine article is questioned as to being authentic!:D it is policy of this forum and many others to not condone replicas...I have no problem with them when they are represented as such and kept in their resepected place(replica forums)but in this case no proof is made whether it is or not so therefore based on this watch as being secondary info from another site which I happen to know Ernie would never advocate fakes whether it is spelled out on the dial or otherwise.I have to believe Ernie was not aware of this being posted on his forum.:(

..again if I am wrong I apologize but based on a few minutes research I can't see this as being genuine and would stay clear especially at a price that is in the $600. range. There are many legitimate vendors selling homages which have been given in this thread and an homage will never compare to the original although I have a Italian Precista LE/Panny Radiomir homage which was made by a resepected watchmaker and is as close as you can get to one imhohand6.gif

I have seen Anders/Gnomon watches Radiomir homage and can say it is a very good deal at $520. and comes from a respected dealer. My advice is do your research and stick with vendors who don't hide in the shadows. You will find this subject would not stand on any forum that has intelligent WIS onboard but since this thread started out innocent enough it stays...do a search on replicas on 3T and you will find much in regards to the subject. watch2.gif

I have never met the seller. I was given their information by a user on Watchuseek.com. I would hardly consider a website a point of evidence to support legitimacy. Working in technology I'm more then familiar with just how easy it is to prop up a webpage with every bit of “authenticity” applied. According the builder, the watch movements were obtained when Hamilton dispensed with the making of pocket watches. How exactly does one “verify and authenticate the movement?”
