What is happening to me? I'm getting obsessed. This can't be good. Did I miss any warning signs? "Don't buy a quality watch! You'll be doomed forever!" :D Today I meet another WIS (I might aswell admit to being one by now) and had a chat. Now I'm the kind of guy that normaly spends alot of time researching whatever I have set my mind to buying. I want to know I have made the right choice whenever I make a purchase. We started talking about what started it all for each of us. The watch that started my saving was the Fortis B-42 Cosmonaute GMT. It is stil at the top of my wishlist. ![]() If it hadn't been for enzo and his amazing emv I would probably have bought it by now. When I saw the emv and the special demo-sale enzo had (plus the fact that he is the nicest person to deal with ever) the Fortis had to stand in the waitingline. Now I'm not counting a few other russian watches in all this mostly cause they didn't cost that much and don't have the overall quality that I was looking for in a watch. Anyway the enzo blew me away and I don't regret buying it at all, never will. The thing that I like most about it is the bezel, the smooth curved bezel with raised dots. Just lovely! I had'nt seen any really like it on other watches. Has anyone else? And as I was talking about the watch as passionatly as one can get about their favorite watch, he pulls something out of his box and shows me this one: ![]() and my jaw just drops! hearteyes.gif I can't believe I have found another todiefor watch! Now I got to try it out and it is lovely! And HUGE! Hopefully I'll realize it is just to big for me to actually have any use of. And hopefully soon, before the fortis gets another bump. I don't know that much about it yet, except that it costs quite alot for a watch that doesn't seem to look that expensive. And that if it wasn't for the fact that I realy can't afford a new watch before I save some money I'd have bought one already. Does anyone of you guys know anything about it? I do know that it is somekind of panerai homage-thing designwise. I recognize the dial naturally. I've never been that big on the whole case-design of pam-watches though I've always like the dial concept of layers. Anyway, this is getting to be an expensive hobby :D I mean how many watches could anyone really need? Oh, was this maybe the wrong forum to ask that? ;)
