I'm not sure that the Unitas movement is that costly as I have a few very affordable (read TRIAS) watches with that movement.  It is a very dependable movement that has been around forever, originating, I believe, as a pocket watch movement.  It is quite large compared to the more modern "automatic" movements.

That said, I must disagree with sixgears.  It is a disease AND an addiction, and under that premise, I demand that the Federal government come up with a program to help support it! :D
