Congratulations to LSU and to the SEC. On the OSU side, they had a great year (again). Picked to finish no better than 3rd in their conference they won the title and beat Michigan for the 4th year in a row. Did they really belong in the title game this year? In a normal year they wouldn't have made it. They may have been ranked in the top 10, but certainly not #1. But, that's where they wound up. Ahead of LSU, Georgia, West Virginia, and USC. The BCS system didn't work that well (IMHO). OSU played a bit better at times this year, but made too many errors to maintain their composure. Once they lost composure, it was game over. Is the Big Ten as weak as they say? Yup, I think so. And, it isn't going to get any stronger in the near future. The Big Ten needs to make some changes. MAC schools are getting closer in talent and are beating (at times) the lower 5 in the Big Ten now every year.
