The SC was nice but it didn't suit the CSAR. The Panny buckle was all wrong..mistake.gif Just sold it, actually. The Giovanni is nice but the buckle is/was chrome on the one I got and the sucker was sewn in!! After an hour with the hacksaw and pliers the darn thing was removed and replaced with a lovely matching brushed SS buckle was is far better with the CSAR. I'm pleased with that one now and will keep it.

I did, however, feel compelled to change out the feeble rubber strap as it's nice to wear rubber when I'm actually in the water or when it's hot out. After a lot of research I finally settled on this:



It's the new Hirsch Lance and while not cheap it looks awesome, it's airy and allows you to adjust the curved lugs right up against the watch case. That should work well on the CSAR, I think. Will see midweek next week when it arrives. Pics to come!
