LOL! On a normal strap I probably wouldn't have bothered but this strap is fantastically soft and agile leather, despite it's thickness and because I got such a great deal on it I didn't want to flip it. The buckle cost me $20 so I've gotten the perfect strap exactly to my taste for $80 which is a big difference to the $250 - $300 I was expecting. That soothed the pain of not having a vice to hold the old buckle still whilst I sawed it. Yep, the Hirsch is scheduled for Fedex delivery on Monday. Hope they get here early as I have meetings from 11.30am onwards but otherwise I should be here to receive it for second delivery on Tuesday. Looking forward to that one! srh_pres wrote: An hour hacksawing at a sewn in buckle? you have more staying power and patience then I would have Duncan... but looks great with the new buckle. Are you still expecting that cool Hirsch?
