Abrizz- I've got a Fortis B-42 and imho it is a fine watch. Very solid and well built. No flaws from the factory. I highly recomend the brand. I also own a few GMT watches so I know a bit about them as well. The Fortis uses the ETA 2893-2 movment which provides the GMT function. The watch is set mormally in what I will call the third position with the crown being pulled all the way out. Date and GMT are set in the second position or with the crown partially pulled out. All the 2893's I have set the GMT by turning the crown clockwise while the date is set by turning the crown counter clockwise. Position one with the crown all the way in is for winding. The GMT hand can be independently set to whatever time you like as indicated by the 12 hour scale on the bezel. You may set GMT for your secondary time or switch the hour hand and keep the GMT as home time. The GMT hand flows between the hour markings and doesn't jump. Imho Fortis watches kick but while not being over priced. I also like GMT complications and would like to live vicariously through your purchase!! If you are interested in Fortis watches you may wish to speak with 3T member cnmark. I don't mean to shill, but I got a great deal from him. Let us know which way you go.
