Yeap, Breitling Rubber Strap is on its way... Here's a short story. As you may know, I have been looking for a Glycine Airman 17 for a couple of weeks. I acutally found one from an AD with a great discount. The discount was so unbeliable that I can't pass it up. So I figure this would be a good time to ask my wife if it would be ok for me to buy one. (recently she did a complete inventory of my "toys" so I can pass this one up as an "old" watch) Anyway, I was starting my reasoning of why I need another watch and she started a series of questions.. 1. Glycine - who makes that? 2. Are they new? I never heard of Glycine... 3. I though you were done with watches... 4. Are you selling one of your breitlings to get this? Etc, etc, etc... "REQUEST DENIED!" Yes, sir. No go on Glycine. Instead she suggests to get another strap for my breitlings. So she authorized me to purchase a diver pro rubber strap for my Emergency and Blackbird. (good thing that both are 22mm) So, I didn't hegitate to order one from my local AD. It should be here sometime next week. $75 well spent! For the Glycine deal, one of my WIS friends purchased the Glycine. Well, at least I get to try it on when the watch arrives. I feel like Frank the Tank from the movie Old School...
