The blank rows are for expansion! I love the pocket watches lined up on the side. I can't tell you how many watches I own, I believe it is between 3-4 dozen, but my wife would be able to tell you the exact number without blinking. She did this to me in front of some friends one night when one of them asked the question "How many watches to you own" and I couldn't tell them. The only thing saving me is that one of her rings would buy 5 of my watches and she has her own addiction, so she never says a thing about it.
