I've got a few chinese movement watches around here and as long as they are asembled in a clean environment by qualified people there is nothing wrong with what they are producing. The only major flaw I can find with this latest generation of Chinese movements is that they are copies of hundred year old swiss designs that are simply outdated.
It's just not possible to get those older designs to run as well as modern movements without a lot of added expense. When China starts to improve on the 2824 and 7750 movements then this conversation is going to become very interesting.

I have been watching the China 7750 copies and every generation gets better and they are even starting to improve on the design.
