 You can have the hands re-lumed/painted. Be prepared for a long wait. 2-4 months on average. Consider just having new hands installed. SuperLume ones are available.

As for the 24hr. complication, I don't know. But, that kind of mod could wind up being pretty expensive if it is even possible.
