Watchboy had asked me to check my new Poljot Aviator NewFlight 45mm Hand Wind watch to see how long it would run on a full wind. So, I got 4 of my Trias Unitas movement watches and my new Poljot and one other Poljot (also a NewFlight model) and wound them all up at midnight Weds. night. The first Trias stopped running at 12:39 am Saturday morning. The second and third ones stopped at 1:03 am Saturday morning. The fourth at 1:35 am = 49 hours, 35 minutes. Not bad. Pretty good actually. The first Poljot stopped at 5:09 pm Saturday evening. My new Aviator NEWFLIGHT didn't stop until 6:47 pm Saturday evening. THAT'S 66 HOURS AND 47 MINUTES!!!! FRIGGEN AMAZING! (The Aviator watch is the one shown in my Avatar) Last edited on Sun Feb 26th, 2006 12:59 am by mcwright |
