Lume on the Alpina is adequate but in no way inpressive. If I had a complaint it would be the lume. If you prefer a real strong glow this watch will disappoint in that regard.

The F-104 looks great on your wrist. The articulating lugs make a world of difference.



Lume isn't that big of a deal for me. But, I am always curious. Glycine's don't have great lume, either. Ball's? Oh yeah! They have really great lume! 

I sold the Fireman in 2007. I thought it was a keeper... I really liked it too! Something else was calling. But, then; I think every one I buy is going to be a keeper!

What I have now are these.....

O&W 6497XXL, Rado Diastar Original Automatic, Citizen Oxy automatic on s/s, 1970 Accutron Spaceview, Citizen Solar-Tech Eco Drive Ti World Timer, Timex Ironman, Citizen Noblia Calendar, and a few others..
