My Seiko World timer from 1990 needs a trip to the service center, the alarm and world time subdials are fine, the main movement has stopped.  Replacing the battery didn't help.  A "watchmaker" "fixed" it for me, lasted about a month.  I figure it needs a new module.  I never wore it much as it is gold and was a wedding gift from my wife so I was always afraid of ruining it.  That is the only reason I will get it fixed one of these days...

Cheers,
Griff
