This simple looking little gadget is a godsend!
I have been procrastinating about getting one of these for a while, Garwal got one last year and ranted and raved about it so I finally broke down and bought it.

They are made to order right here in the USA!
It will do way more than I am ever going to ask of it. I bought mine with the clamping sensor and the windows software package though so far I have been happy to just use the timer on my desk with the 9v batter in it for power. The advantage of this setup being I can do printouts to my printer from my computer and I don't need a custom printer just for the timer!

My first surprise was that after adjustment my Orange Mako is more accurate than my brand new Omega Seamaster Chronometer by a factor or two or more including positional variation!! The Mako is unwavering in it's beat error and speed with a variation in beat error from 0 to .4ms at different positions. The Seamaster by contrast varies from .5 to 1.2ms.

I am absolutely stunned and thrilled at the same time! I can't wait to get a few more of my watches on the timer and check them out!!
