 I went with the intention of spending up to $1500, once the salesman brought this thing out it was as if he knew exactly what i wanted.  This has been one of my grail watches since i was infected.  Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer. 

anyway features:

42.7 mm, amazing rubber strap with two large signed titanium links, titanium case back, awsome movement UN26 (base ETA2892), 12mm ht., saphire crystal with antiglare coating. water resistant to 300 meters, hours, min., sub seconds, power reserve display, magnified date, and officially certified chronometer.
