Marathon still manufacture automatic watches. Your looking in the price range for a GSAR around $600-700.
The C-SAR is a chronograph watch. ETA Valjoux 7750 Mechanical which will run you $2000 and the J-SAR is a JUMBO Search and rescue watch (quartz movement)that will run you $450.

The only thing I know about Marathon is the fact,these are Government Issue Watches in both the U.S. and Canada.
