A few Q&Ds of my newly arrived Black IP Aviator by Volmax
2614 17 jewel handwound mechanical lever Poljot movement.

40mm but wears bigger. Same case and crown as used on many Aviator models but with IP treatment.

White hands and numerals on gloss black dial

Domed mineral crystal and red second hand

Killer lume like most Aviators.

I changed the strap that it came on but I am thinking of ordering a black IP bracelet for it.

Nice large signed crown and winds with typical Russian roughness.  For 24 hours it has gained 19 seconds so it should settle in nicely.  If not I can live with that.

While I like the watch and the ease with which the dial can be read it seems to be lacking that Russian "flavor" that my other Aviators possess.  Maybe the hands are a little too "vanilla" and the red hand does not have the short portion painted out like the older models do. The numerals are a little too stark also and I would prefer the off white greenish tinge previously used. These are personal preferences of course.
