Is it polycarbonate, mineral glass, or sapphire? If it is mineral you can grind the surface if you can get to it and do a 2 step sanding followed by a polishing. Not something that you can do at home, unless you are very skilled. If you need the specifics I can post them but not worth it on most watches, easier to just replace it or wear it. The lexans or polycarbonate are a similar process just about a million times easier due to the softness of the material. Plus the majority of polymer crystals are easy to get to because they are convex, this gives them more structural integrity.
