Thanks guys, pics as soon as it comes :-)
It's an altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer, chrono, alarm, has weather trending graphs, storm alarms and multiple logs.  My Vector is really cool but the new Core is supposed to be more intuitive to work through menus rather than button push sequences.  I am used to most of the functions on the Vector but it took awhile to learn!  Plus the Core is rated for snorkeling and will log the changes in water depth and dive time.  I had been going back and forth between the Core and the Citizen 20th Anniversary Aqualand on which to get first.  As I will get more use from the Core functions with Scout camping season coming I figured I would go for the Suunto first and grab the Citizen maybe this summer.

I love the negative orange display, though Suunto makes a couple with the positive display which might be easier to read at times.  I am used to the negative display on my Vector.  I used the Vector at the Scout Klondike Derby, it accurately predicted the change in weather that particular day (storm front rolled in about an hour after the even started, it was snowing, perfect for a Klondike Derby!)  If the Core delivers what they say it does it will be as good as the Vector and easier to use hand6.gif

Plus, it will get its first test right away, we have a Cub Scout weekend camping trip coming up next week :D  I should get some action pics!

Cheers,
Griff
