 Love hockey. Being born and bread in Wisconsin I started playing at age 7 and finished at age 17. That's when I enrolled at Wisconsin, went to a Badger skate around and found though I was pretty good for my small town, I wasn't anywhere the skater or didn't have the size the REAL hockey players had.

When I was a kid we had an AHL team known as the Bobcats which featured our very own Hanson brother, the Pirphers. They were good guys and would come to schools and events.

The Bobcats are long gone and now we have another team known as the gamblers. I don't even know what league they are in! They are sort of a team for the best high school players before they declare a college.

Regardless, hockey is a blast to see live!! However I don't think it translates that well to TV unless you are Canadian!! subtlelaugh.gif
