I was checking around a couple of online classified ads (craigslist.vancouver and
British Columbia Buy-Sell.com) to see what's available.

I came across craigslist.vancouver and found an ad in there that read:
Rolex For Sale: $950.  I thought I'll click on the ad to find out more information
about the watch.

From the title I thought "Great a vintage Rolex of the 1950's."
What I saw was extremely heart breaking.

The Rolex was a 16713 Two-Tone GMT II,original Rolex Case with Rolex Two-Tone
Oyster Bracelet. The black dial was from Rolex--as it turned out the seller had swapped the Rolex Movement and placed in a Mido 25 Jewel ETA 2836 using the Rolex Calendar Disc. Which cause the date wheel not being able to turn at midnight.

I found this ad to be really disgusting as to how low people would stoop
to sell what supposedly been a watch worth $3-4,500 on the used market.

This is almost as bad as buying a Replica Watch and selling it for $2,500.
