I'm not talking Bernhardt Instruments but Bernhardt Watch versions(Seasharks etc) seem to pop up on quite a few sales forums including right here ....maybe it was a stretch of them at one time but they seem to turn over :?...and no one said nor implied any risk ...they are probably a nice daily wearer at $199. ....my preference would still be an original Bernhardt Instruments which are no longer made and still seem to hold some value although they sold for morehand6.gif... comparing a small company who makes small quantities like this to Seiko or any other large manufacturer is a stretch to me :D
There is an implied something in your asking "Why"!! Be it risk or whatever, not being liked, etc. Seasharks would certainly pop up more often as it is a watch many forum followers might try based on the price. Then move it to get something else. It happens every day with Miyota based watches under $200.
As for Seiko's size, maybe I should have said Stowa or whatever. There ALWAYS is something on sale on sales corners. And, if a lot of guys buy a Seashark, you can bet the bank some of them will be on the sales corner in a few months or less.
