YARGH...inferior team? Not exactly what the results say! That said, the "inferior team" became superior by taking advantage of the "superior team's" obvious inferiority. Maybe this coachng theory is wrong but.....with a 3 point lead and 7.6 seconds....by my math..now follow me............
1 foul=2 free throws
2 free throws made=2 points
3-2=1

It was one of the best games I have seen though.
Bottom line: you can't count on winning games with "if only" when you only shoot 59% from the charity line...The answer is no...Memphis does not win the game if it comes down to making points on fouls!...and what, pray tell, happened to this "superior team" in overtime?
Ken I couldn't agree with you more. You have got to be able to make clutch free throws if you have any chance of winning. That was abysmal and even though I dearly wanted Memphis to make me a winner, they did not deserve to win the game based on their performance last night. Hail to the Jayjawks!!
