Lately, I have been enamored with Fricker-cased divers. The cases are solid, ETA 2824-2 Movements, solid bracelets........Just really well-made, moderately priced divers. I recently picked up a Jacques Etoile Atlantis for $1200 and a Kenzo Nautilus SS for a little more than $1500----Both in the second-hand markets, and both in mint condition. The AlphaTime Diver is also made by Fricker and moderately priced (brand-new). Some people don't like the looks, but........... If you keep your eyes open, you can really find them for a moderate price on TZ on WUS sales forums. my pic:  sellers pic of the JE Atlantis (it hasn't arrived yet)
