 Randy,

My uneducated guess is that the rotor might be loose. If it spins freely that is not typical for a 2824 since they wind in either direction. The only issue with this theory is that I think it should still manually wind so the mainspring might be messed up.

I dont think its a big fix for a competent watchmaker if you have one in your area.
