 Here in Buffalo I grew up with the game and still play shinny (pick-up hockey) once or twice a week. At a spry 44 years I am rarely the oldest guy on the ice. When I lived in Philly, I used to play at Penn. There I was always the old man.

The best live hockey I saw this year was the Annual Scotty Bowman Cup played at the Sabres (HSBC) Arena. It is a high school all-star game between Buffalo and Rochester. These kids are fast and amazing.
Buffalo won. Again.
