Thanks I appreciate it. It didn't work. I ended up screwing it up even more.

But I'm not quite sure if someone changed my home directory or if it was something else. At this rate it looks like I might have to just format. Which isn't that big of a deal. I have the important things backed up. What I wanna know is if I got hacked and someone changed that directory. Cause nobody on this end did. It wasn't me and I doubt my 18mo or my 3yo did it.
