Heading out tomorrow  after work for a weekend of camping in Altoona Pa.  I collect old Serro Scotty campers and we have a club.  members of the NE chapter will be camping this weekend.  We will be using the 1968 15'  Hilander.  I have a 1962 13 foot silverside (polished aluminum) I cant even stand up in.  Its like a teardrop.  Also have a 1964 hilander.  These are rare (the '64) as this was the first yearfor the Hilander and in '65 they changed the design.  It needs a total restoration.
The campground we are going to is to have wi-fi so,   I should be able to check in. It should be interesting as the grounds are full since the Boy  Scouts are haveing a campout there.   It will also be our first time out with Shelby, our new pup.  Should be interesting.
These campers may be small but they are cozy.  All I need is a place to sleep and get out of the rain.  I dont know about you but, when I go camping I dont sit in the camper all day.
