I hear ya zipp. And please don't think I am blessed with a huge dollar watch budget - that is sure not the truth. It will be a hell of a stretch for me to get the funds - but that's what motivates me to get rid of girlfriends and keep saving!! (no doghouse to worry about!!). I may not even get the funds before there is a sell-out or similar. But I will give it my best shot. I am committed to the Ocean 7 and I might have to leave it at that. I have many under $500 watches that I love to death and only a few above that mark. I don't trade that much - I buy cos I like 'em. I don't buy cos of their prices - I buy cos I want them. And I don't buy a lot. But I am so firmly hooked that it will never go away... Same thinking as O - if the original is there and it doesn't kill me to pay the price (or a heavily discounted price on the same item from a friendly AD - though I don't reckon there will be much negotiating on this new one), I would have the Omega over the imitator any day. But there are so many choices at that big dollar value - including THREE of my grail Chopard Mille Miglia white faced black sub-dial GMTs. Now there's a thought... Cheers - IanM
