really sorry for bombarding the forum... (if its not ok, then please delete this thread)

i want to buy the triton, but heard it gains 20+ sec per day.
thats allot, is'nt it?
or is it only when its new?
im in a real dilemma...

Tamir,

I would think that each watch is a little diferent......the watch could also settle down a bit afte a few months of "steady" wearing. Also it is easily adjusted by any watchmaker for around $25 or lesshand6.gif

You might even ask that the watch they are shipping be checked for 24 hours for accuracy.  Debaufre/Steinhart is a fine company!

While I haven't checked mine for ultimate accuracy, it sure isn't running +20/day.  It might be fast, but I would notice anything over +15.

You are gonna love it, it is a serious chunk of diver hand6.gif
