Prototype, hard to say could be either but I would guess PVD.

That is a awesome watch. So many others have been fashioned and designed around that baby.

Another I would love to own myself. ;)

Very pretty, I'm guessing GNPof small African nation will be enough to cover the purchase price.

Very nice, if that's the PVD, that's a good choice...

It appears to be DLC(diamond-like carbon) coated (glossy) and something Blancpain would use over PVD imhohand6.gif .....very cool!.... it has to be a proto as I never remember Blancpain mentioning a black steel version of the fifty fathoms when they released this new line in 2007watch2.gifDo you own this watch?

That is SWEET! I Love the look of the Fifty-Fathoms but that brings it to a whole new level.

Very nice watches. Way too pricey. I think the non-chrono retails for $11,000. I would hate to dive with it and have it fall off never to find it again. I would pay $565 for the MK II Stingray 50 Diver that looks just like the original 50 fathoms. This way if the watch fell off and was lost, I would only cry for a week instead of an entire year. subtlelaugh.gif

They are definately priced outside most of our limits. They are an iconic dive watch IMHO.

11k is for the non-chrono it is 18k for the chrono and that is the standard finish I can't imagine what the DLC will cost.
