I like the apparent logic behind having the 12:00 (high noon) at top center. You have your normal daylight hours on the top half of the watch and night on the bottom. That said, it would really mess me up to switch between that watch and any other watch in my collection.

Given that, I would opt for the Glycine Airman SST 06 (44mm) which is $1060 (S&H $12) from Anders at Gnomon Watches, comes in many dial colors, and, since Anders is a 3T favored vendor...a discount is offered to 3T members. I just e-mailed Anders at Gnomon asking about the Airman 17. Let see if he can help me out. Thanks again!
